My stay at the hotel was quite enjoyable overall. The rooms were spacious and had a beautiful view, which made my photography session a breeze. The staff could use a bit of improvement in their friendliness, as some were unwelcoming upon arrival. While the location is beautiful, it's a bit secluded, making it less convenient for exploring nearby attractions. However, the dining experience had plenty of tasty options to choose from.

The rooms were spacious and well-lit, featuring a beautiful view and a great bathtub. They were perfect for accommodating my whole photography team.
Service

The service was a mixed bag; while some staff members were very helpful, others were quite rude upon our arrival, which was disappointing.
Location

The hotel is located in the mountains of Chiang Mai, which is beautiful but also quite secluded, making it not close to much else.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel, surrounded by beautiful views and a relaxed atmosphere. The rooms were quite spacious, though not luxurious, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. However, the location is a bit further from Chiang Mai than stated, making travel a bit long. Overall, the value for money was good, especially with the breakfast options provided.

Rooms

The rooms were very spacious with high ceilings and had a nice view of the forest, providing a sense of privacy, although it was a bit dark.
Service
9.0
The service here was incredible; the staff was super friendly and even prepared a special breakfast box for us, which was really heartwarming.
Location
6.0
The location is truly beautiful, with stunning views of farms and mountains, but it actually takes about an hour to reach Chiang Mai, not the 30 minutes advertised.
Dining
7.0
Dining was acceptable for what I paid, with a good selection of both Thai and European dishes served in our room and at the poolside.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel had pleasant facilities, including a pool that was nice to use for relaxation.

7.0/10

The hotel offers a large room with a separate sitting area, providing a comfortable and pampering experience. However, the decor feels a bit outdated and the noise from the wooden floors can be distracting. The location is stunning, nestled among beautiful gardens, but some noisy renovations during my stay affected the relaxation vibe. Overall, it’s a decent place but could use some updates to match the high expectations of a 5-star hotel.

Rooms
7.0
My room was enormous, featuring a separate sitting area and a large terrace, which was fantastic. However, it felt a bit old-fashioned and the noise from the wooden floors was noticeable.
Service
7.0
The service was friendly, with staff being very pleasant during my stay. However, breakfast service could have been more attentive.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location is absolutely superb, set in beautiful established gardens that feel like paradise. Unfortunately, there were noisy renovations happening during my visit that detracted from the peaceful atmosphere.
Dining
6.0
Dining options were somewhat limited, but what I had was pretty good. Breakfast was a bit lackluster, which was disappointing.
Facilities

The hotel has a nice array of facilities, but some areas could really use a renovation to enhance the overall experience.

During my stay, I found the hotel to be situated in the beautiful Mae Rim valley, offering a great and relaxing atmosphere, although the ongoing restoration of the spa area was quite noisy. The villa I stayed in was designed in a lovely Thai style and had a jacuzzi, but there was an unfortunate water pipe issue delaying check-in. The service from the staff was genuinely friendly and attentive, which made my experience better, despite a couple of minor issues.

The villa I had was beautifully designed in a Thai style, and I really appreciated the jacuzzi, although it would have been disappointing if it wasn't available due to the water pipe issue during my check-in.
Service
9.0
The staff was lovely and clearly puts in a lot of effort in the upkeep of the hotel, which can't be easy given the terrain. They were very responsive, even calling a buggy to take me up the steep hills to the lobby.
Location
8.0
The location was absolutely beautiful and felt so relaxing, being surrounded by nature, but the noisy restoration work was somewhat disruptive during my stay.
Dining

The dining options were a bit limited and not very varied, but I found the food to be slightly above average for the normal Asian fare.
Facilities

While the facilities were generally well-kept, I did wish for a bit more variety and availability in the amenities.

The hotel offered a stunning location in the mountains with breathtaking views, and the staff were really kind and accommodating, which made my stay enjoyable. However, the rooms were a bit dated and could use some renovations, especially the bathrooms. While the dining was delicious, the variety was somewhat limited. Overall, it's a decent choice, but the condition of the rooms pulled my experience down slightly.
